DESERT ROSE, WORLD PREMIERE -FILARMONICA BRAŞOV
Desert Rose, the Valley of Roses, was premiered with Filarmonica Braşov, conducted by Sebastian Grand, in the Sala Patria, Braşov Romania on June 30, 2026.
The work, one in a series of composition and paintings, explores a journey through the Vallée des Roses (Morocco) along streams and valleys in the deserts of Northern Africa during the harvest of roses. Land of the Berber tribes and nomads, where life flourishes in dry places.
The concert included two world premieres as the International Musicians Academy Gala Concert with Romanian cellist Ovidiu Marinescu.
A short documentary by the composer featuring the journey through the Vallée des Roses will soon be released.
